Virus Shawl

I have seen photos of the Virus shawl so many times on crochet groups, that I had to give this a try. I used 4x50g balls of Jaeger Aqua cotton and black. The shawl has a nice weight and washes well.

I used the online video tutorials by woolpedia (I found this video really easy to follow)  https://youtu.be/oEBFSl0D3NQ

CSM Part 1

I was fortunate enough to be able to attend the Part 1 Haute Couture embroidery course at CSM taught by Elisabeth Roulleau.

Well I had the most amazing time. I can’t believe how much I was able to learn in just a week and I was so lucky to meet wonderful new friends. I really hope I get to do part 2 at some point in the future…

My part 1 project piece… using a number of the new techniques that I learnt over the week, including sequin and bead application, zigzag and vermicelli stitch and sewing cord.

Cleo Shawl number 6

Number 6 of the Cleo shawl finally finished! Working through my unfinished projects and getting myself organised!

Really love this colour, its so easy to match with outfits! But I really do think its time I learnt to make another shawl….

WATG Boogie Basket Party

Fun night catching up with a friend and making these useful WATG boogie baskets. I do love crafting parties!

If you live in London I would certainly recommend looking up parties near you;

First time I have used Jersey yarn and it is great for making home stuff. I am now thinking a colourful girly basket with handles would sit nicely and match all my new folders! Off to search for a yarn deal!
